The buying for the store is an essential process, for which Mark and Marina have a knack. They choose original pieces in limited quantity so customers can have peace of mind knowing they have a unique garment, exclusive to Mark Nunes. Customers are educated on the lines that are carried, and take advantage of the custom tailoring. They know each piece is backed with a great reputation for quality as opposed to name brands that are lacking.

“We have worked hard to gain the trust of our customers through extensive fashion experience, research and impeccable tailoring services.”

MARK NUNES

Mark Nunes had already embraced the specific skills involved in tailoring and fashion design at a young age. Working at his father's tailor shop part-time until highschool graduation, allowed him to acquire a keen sense and the jump start he needed to thrive in the business of tailoring. Mark then progressed to full-time employment with the intent of opening a store offering fine men's suiting, with the convenience of custom tailoring all under one roof. He continued to persue the trade with diligence and self-motivation, making perfectionism become second nature. In 2003 Mark purchased a local menswear business that was closing and expanded his retail selection - now offering casual lines, outerwear and footwear for men. In 2005 women's fashions were also introduced to Mark Nunes, becoming Mark Nunes Clothier & Tailors. To this day Mark Nunes is known for quality and exclusivity due to their extensive buying process in New York twice a year.
